Đề cử giải Quả cầu vàng 2015: Nhiều cái tên lớn bị phớt lờ
Tối 11/12, tại khách sạn Beverly Hilton ở Los Angeles (Mỹ), các diễn viên Kate Beckinsale, Peter Krause, Paula Patton và Jeremy Piven công bố các đề cử Quả Cầu Vàng 2015.
Dẫn đầu danh sách đề cử năm nay là các phim Birdman (7 đề cử), Boyhood và The Imitation Game (đều 5 đề cử). Các phim này đều nhận được những đề cử ở các hạng mục chính như Phim chính kịch hay nhất, Phim hài/nhạc kịch hay nhất, các giải về đạo diễn và diễn xuất.
Trong khi đó, các phim từng gây nhiều xôn xao và chú ý như Interstellar, Unbroken (Angelina Jolie đạo diễn) hay Gone Girl lại bị Quả Cầu Vàng bỏ qua.

Giải Quả Cầu Vàng hàng do Hiệp hội Báo chí Quốc tế Hollywood (HFPA) tổ chức, do các nhà báo bầu chọn. Năm nay, phiếu kín bầu chọn sẽ được các nhà báo gửi đến ban tổ chức vào ngày 22/12.
Lễ trao giải Quả Cầu Vàng 2015 diễn ra vào ngày 11/1, được phát trực tiếp trên kênh NBC. Dẫn chương trình là cặp MC quen thuộc Tina Fey và Amy Poehler.
