(Baonghean.vn) - While Quy Chau Bus Station and Que Phong Bus Station (Nghe An) are often deserted, along National Highway 48, many spontaneous bus-catching spots have appeared but have not been thoroughly handled.

According to the reporter's records, along the routeHighway 48Passing through the two districts of Quy Chau and Que Phong, there are many spontaneous bus stops. Passengers often gather at intersections or under large trees along the road. Passengers only need to wait for a short time, and the buses will stop to invite them to get on.

In contrast, at thebus stationLocated in the center of the district, there are very few passengers or vehicles coming in. For example, Quy Chau Bus Station located in Block 2, Tan Lac town has only a few cars parked by locals. The entire bus station is empty and not cleaned, making the scene even more desolate.

According to a manager of Quy Chau Bus Station, the station only has one registered vehicle, so the main source of revenue is from parking fees collected from surrounding residents.

Observation shows that the entire bus station is empty. The bus station has not been upgraded for many years, causing the facilities to deteriorate, the ground to peel off, and potential risks due to many large tree branches extending into the area.

Que Phong bus station is also in a similar situation. Although the number of passenger vehicles from Que Phong to Vinh city is quite large, the bus station area is always deserted, there are no passengers entering the station, so there are no passenger vehicles entering the station to wait for passengers.

In reality, most of the buses do not enter the station to pick up and drop off passengers according to regulations. In addition, the situation of passengers catching buses along the road is very common. Many buses in Kim Son town (Que Phong) do not enter the station but stop and park on the roadside to conveniently pick up passengers.

According to Mr. Tran Minh Thanh - Director of Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company, at Quy Chau Bus Station, there has been only one passenger bus running the Quy Chau - Son Hai (Quynh Luu) route registered at the station. However, because this bus station has no source of income, the unit has no plan to invest in upgrading. Meanwhile, Que Phong Bus Station has over 30 passenger buses registered at the station. However, due to the habit of people catching a bus wherever it is convenient, bus drivers often have to pick up and drop off passengers at many different locations, and rarely wait for passengers at the bus station.

"To allow passengers and coaches to enter the station, authorities need to strictly handle cases of coach drivers picking up and dropping off passengers at the wrong locations according to regulations," Mr. Tran Minh Thanh suggested.

StatuscoachStopping and parking along the road, especially on main roads in Tan Lac and Kim Son towns, is common and has become a habit of passengers. Although the authorities regularly patrol and remind, when the authorities are absent, it recurs, making it very difficult to handle thoroughly.

Authorities need to strictly handle passenger vans that violate regulations on picking up and dropping off passengers along the way, so that these bus stations can operate properly./.
