Russian Foreign Ministry asks Germany to clarify information about the intention to attack the Crimea bridge with Taurus missiles
(Baonghean.vn) - The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Berlin is obliged to provide clarification information, after publishing a conversation between German officers, in which Taurus missile attacks on the Crimean bridge were discussed.

The official spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said in a conversation with RT on March 4 that the recording of the discussion between German military officers spoke of Germany's long-term and planned intention to conduct military operations against Russia.
"So, literally, the conversation was told step by step how terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure would be carried out. Moreover, the officers participating in the discussion clearly and fully understood that they were discussing the sabotage of a civilian bridge," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
Ms. Zakharova also emphasized that the German military discussed a lot when talking about the attack on the Crimean bridge, because it had great political importance.
According to Ms. Zakharova, Germany is obliged to provide an explanation in the current context.
"All questions related to this issue should not be left hanging in the air. Germany is obliged to provide a clear explanation," said a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman.
Ms. Zakharova's statement was made in the context that German Ambassador to Russia Alexander Lambsdorff visited the Russian Foreign Ministry, stayed there for about 1 hour, and did not answer questions from the press.
Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov also commented on the recording of the German officer's conversation on March 4. According to him, the conversation actually shows that "deep inside the German Army, plans to carry out attacks on Russian territory are being discussed in a real and concrete way."
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the German recording "blatant self-revelation".
"This is a revelation in the military field, similar to that in the political field, when former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former French President Hollande and former Ukrainian President Poroshenko admitted that no one implemented the Minsk Agreements" - Foreign Minister Lavrov emphasized./.
