A deer in Ha Tinh with a pair of "mutated" antlers, weighing about 4kg, priced at nearly 60 million VND, has been reserved by a customer.
Mr. NCC, residing in Phuong Hoang village, Son Ham commune (Huong Son, Ha Tinh) - the owner of a deer with a pair of huge antlers, weighing about 4kg.
Mr. C. said that 6 years ago, he bought this deer from a local and took it home to take care of it. The first two years, the pair of antlers on the deer's head had a moderate weight, but in recent years, the weight has gradually increased, from 3kg to 3.8kg. This year alone, his family's precious deer produced a pair of giant antlers weighing about 4kg.

“I have been raising deer for nearly 20 years, but I have never seen a deer with such a strange and large pair of antlers. Normally, a pair of antlers will be round, grow straight, and stick out a few small branches. But this deer has a pair of large antlers, which stick out more and more as it grows, like eye-catching trumpet flowers. Now it weighs about 4kg,” Mr. C. confided.
Seeing that his family had a deer with strange antlers, many curious people came to the house to admire it.
“Many customers came to bargain, but I agreed to sell the velvet to a person in Pho Chau town. They bought it for 14 million VND/kg, a higher price than usual. I plan to cut this pair of velvet and hand it over to the customer in about 10 days. If the pair of velvet reaches over 4 kg, I will earn nearly 60 million VND,” Mr. C. added.
