In the 2023 High School Graduation Exam, class 12D1 - Do Luong 3 High School (Do Luong) had 22/43 students scoring over 50 points, of which 6 students scored over 53 points. This is a "telling" number after the students' hard work in studying. In terms of block scores, the class had over 10 students scoring over 26 points in block D; 17 students scoring over 26 points in block C.
With the above achievements, class 12D1 - Do Luong 3 High School ranked 3rd in Nghe An province in terms of graduation exam scores and 5th in the province in terms of subject and block exam scores. Contributing to this proud achievement is Hoang Thi Chau Uyen, a student who was both the valedictorian of the D block of the whole school and the valedictorian of the Social Sciences group with 53.75 points. Last school year, Uyen also excellently won third prize at the provincial "Science and Technology Innovation" Competition along with many other proud achievements. Specifically, Uyen achieved 26.75 points in block D; 26.25 points in block C; 53.75 total points in the graduation exam; 95 points in the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University...

Not only reaping many sweet fruits from the 2023 high school exam, last school year, class 12D1 - Do Luong 3 High School also had other outstanding achievements. In the Provincial Excellent Student Competition, the class won 5 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes, 1 Encouragement Prize. In addition, there were 2 Third Prizes in the "Science and Technology Innovation" Competition. In addition, many students achieved high scores in the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University: 20 students scored over 90 points and passed early admission to top universities, such as Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Nguyen Thi My Y... all scored over 50 points in the graduation exam, over 100 points in the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and were excellent students of the province in cultural subjects. Among them, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh scored 53.45 points in the Graduation Exam and 112 points in the Competency Assessment Exam, and was directly admitted to the Foreign Trade University and the National Economics University. “To get good scores, you need to study with passion, love the subject, and find interest to create motivation to promote more effective learning. That contributed significantly to my success in the recent exam,” said Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh.
And it can be said that the result is from the determination to constantly accumulate knowledge of all students along with the attention of the school's Board of Directors and the dedicated teaching of teachers. Ms. Thai Thi Hien - head teacher of class 12D1 said that this is one of her most successful courses ever. This result has affirmed the brand and quality reputation of Do Luong 3 High School - a school that is 45 years old. "The learning ability and will of students in rural areas is a fire that never goes out. Just encourage, motivate and orient correctly, then the sweet fruit will come. I cried when I received the report card of the whole class", Ms. Hien said.

Also in the "Luong land", there is another class with equally impressive achievements. That is class 12D1 - Do Luong 1 High School. In this year's graduation exam, class 12D1 - Do Luong 1 High School had 90% of students with university entrance scores of 25 points or higher. The class has 44 students, but 29 students scored from 9 to 9.5 points in Literature; 23 students scored from 9 to 9.6 points in English; 2 students scored 9.5 points in Literature, among the highest scores in the province, they are Le Thuy Linh and Tran Ngoc Khanh Linh.
In the recent provincial excellent student exam for grade 12 in Literature, class 12D1 - Do Luong 1 High School had 4 students winning Second Prize, 2 students winning Encouragement Prize. In addition to achieving high scores in Literature and English, class 12D1 also had 3 students scoring 27 to 27.6 points in 3 university entrance exam subjects, 1 student scoring 54.35 points in 6 subjects, 17 students scoring over 50 points in 6 subjects. Particularly, student Dau Phuong Linh scored 27.6 points in 3 university entrance exam subjects and 54.35 points in 6 subjects, in the top 19 students with high scores in the province.

The Certificate of Merit awarded by the Prime Minister after more than 10 years, although the handwriting has begun to fade, is still carefully preserved by teacher Nguyen Canh Tai - a teacher at Thanh Chuong 1 High School (Thanh Chuong) and hung in a solemn place in his family. On it is written the line "Reward for the collective teachers of class 12A - Thanh Chuong 1 High School for their excellent achievements in the university entrance exam for the school year 2010 - 2011".

That was the exam in which 100% of the students in class 12A scored high and were admitted to universities. A long time has passed, but the Certificate of Merit and the results achieved are still the goals that Mr. Tai and many teachers at Thanh Chuong 1 High School aim for.
That miracle was repeated this year in class 12A1 - Thanh Chuong 1 High School with more outstanding results, when among the 42 students of the class, 2 students achieved the highest score in the Natural Science group and were awarded at the Provincial Commendation Ceremony, that is Nguyen Dinh Manh Truong with 54.5 points, ranked 3rd and Nguyen Van Tien Dung with 53.95 points, ranked 5th in the province in the Natural Science group. This male student is also the runner-up of the A group in the province with 29 points, in which, in Physics and Chemistry alone, he scored 10 points and is 1 of only 2 candidates in the AOO group in the country with this result. In the entire class 12A1, all 42/42 students achieved 26 points or more for the university entrance exam groups, of which, 15 students achieved 27 points or more. Currently, the class also has 3 students being considered for the Odon Vallet scholarship - a scholarship for talented students with excellent achievements in study and research.
In the list of students with high scores, there are special students, such as Nguyen Dinh Manh Truong, a poor but studious student. In order to have conditions for Truong's 5 siblings to have a full education, in addition to farming, Truong's parents also had to do many other jobs. For nearly 10 years, Truong's father (55 years old) had to leave his family to work as a security guard in the South. Meanwhile, Truong's mother (51 years old), after the harvest, still had to go buy scrap, wash dishes for restaurants... Or like student Nguyen Tien Quang, when he was about to enter grade 10, his father - also a Math teacher at Thanh Chuong 1 High School suddenly passed away. Overcoming the pain, Quang constantly tried, worked hard and passed the High School Graduation Exam with 27.25 points.

As the homeroom teacher of class 12A1 - Thanh Chuong 1 High School, teacher Nguyen Canh Tai said that he is very proud of the achievements that his students have achieved. Among these, the number of students with favorable conditions is not much. Most of them are students from farming families, many students have difficult circumstances, such as their father or mother died early, their family is poor or near-poor. Accompanying the students for 3 years of high school, teacher Tai also shared: "I myself am also from a poor family, going through many years of studying from high school to university with many difficulties and hardships. Therefore, with my students, I always consider them as my children, as my friends and always encourage them to try hard, study hard to move towards a bright future".
To have a fruitful golden season, in addition to the efforts of the students, behind it are the figures of many teachers. Mr. Tai himself, as a homeroom teacher and with nearly 20 years of experience standing on the podium, being a homeroom teacher, he also has his own ways to train students, especially in awareness, self-discipline, and self-study.
Sharing about this, teacher Nguyen Canh Tai told the story that he and his students have maintained for more than 2 years, including the time when studying had to be interrupted due to the Covid-19 epidemic: "When I took over the class and taught the students, I determined that the learning goal must be put first and that if I wanted to do well, I had to train the students to be self-studying and disciplined in studying. That is why, every week, I set a schedule and wake up with the students at 5 am to check their lessons and teach them for free, not only helping them grasp the lessons but also creating a habit of studying for them."

In addition to fulfilling the role of a teacher in imparting knowledge, Mr. Tai also believes that teachers must be role models for their students, even in the smallest things like “drawing a straight line with a very precise ruler”. The teaching process must be fair, with real learning, real exams, and real scores so that students can see the teacher’s intentions and trust the quality of education at the school.
The strict but fair education of Mr. Tai and many other subject teachers at Thanh Chuong 1 High School has really encouraged students and brought about seemingly "unprecedented" results in class 12A1 this school year.
Teacher Nguyen Thanh Tien - Principal of Thanh Chuong 1 High School added: The results of the exam are a measure of the school's educational quality and are the sweet fruit of the efforts of teachers and students. I believe that the successes of this year's exam season will continue to encourage generations of students of the school and continue the tradition of studiousness of students in Thanh Chuong district.
