SLNA Club held a ceremony to launch the 2022 season

DayOn February 13, Song Lam Nghe An Club (SLNA Club) held a ceremony to launch and introduce the co-sponsor of the 2022 VLeague season.

Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports. Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc - General Director of Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company; Truong Sy Ba - Chairman of SLNA Football Club.

At the ceremony, SLNA Club officially introduced the renewed contracts such as Pham Xuan Manh, Nguyen Van Hoang and new players such as Truong An, Nana Paku, Abdul Basit and O'Ojong Mark Mkongho. The 2022 season is also the year that SLNA Club welcomes the return of stars such as Que Ngoc Hai, Trong Hoang and Dinh Hoang...

In 2022, SLNA Club will participate in two major arenas: V.League and National Cup. With the guidance of head coach Nguyen Huy Hoang, assistants such as Pham Van Quyen, Phan Nhu Thuat and 33 players, SLNA aims to be in the top 3 teams of V.League.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh emphasized: This is an extremely meaningful event, creating great motivation for our "army" to advance to the pinnacle of glory. This season, the team has many players who have grown up from the SLNA training center, are playing famously at clubs across the country and are asserting their positions in the national team, returning to play for their homeland, such as Que Ngoc Hai, Trong Hoang...

In addition, the coaching staff are also famous former national players such as Huy Hoang, Van Quyen, Nhu Thuat... which will also be the motivation for the players to compete actively, try their best to follow their seniors to add to the glorious tradition of Nghe An football. Besides, SLNA Club always receives the attention and support of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, sponsors and especially the team's fans nationwide. That is the belief, source of great encouragement and motivation for the team before entering the tournament.

With that meaning, the Director of the Department of Culture and Sports hopes that in the 2022 season, SLNA will always uphold the spirit of overcoming itself, competing in solidarity, achieving the highest results, worthy of the position of Nghe An football on the map of Vietnamese football.

At the ceremony, SLNA Club President Truong Sy Ba shared: “Song Lam Nghe An Football Club is a football team with a rich tradition and a long history of achievements in Vietnamese football. To achieve that, it is thanks to the attention and support of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An, the efforts of each individual who has worked and is working at the Club. Besides, it is the trust and support of a large number of fans and sponsors.

Speaking at the departure ceremony, Head Coach Nguyen Huy Hoang said: “Up to this point, all preparations in terms of personnel, expertise, and spirit for the 2022 season have been completed. I would like to affirm that SLNA Club is ready to enter the new season with the highest determination and goals in each match, striving to complete the target set by the team's Board of Directors, which is to be in the top 3 teams of the 2022 V.League National Championship.

During the launch ceremony, SLNA Club also announced the co-sponsor for the 2022 season, Eurosun Group. Thus, along with the Grand Sport uniform sponsor, on the official jersey of SLNA Club this season, there will appear two major brands: A An rice and Eurosun.

It is expected that on February 19, SLNA will leave for Binh Duong to play the opening match of V.League 2022 against the home team Go Dau on February 25.
