* Focus on veterinary work when re-herding
Tam Thai commune is one of the localities with the largest number of livestock and poultry supplied to the Tet market in Tuong Duong district, with over 30 tons. Therefore, the commune's people are actively re-herding livestock with local breeds, suitable for the soil and climate of the region.
Mr. Kha Van Thanh - Lung Village, Tam Thai Commune said that after selling more than 30 black pigs during Tet, his family is actively taking care of his pig herd. "My family mainly raises pigs semi-naturally, feeds them with available foods, and feeds them properly and with enough nutrients so that the animals grow evenly. During the raising process, my family strictly follows the vaccination of the animals against diseases, and focuses on building hygienic barns" - Mr. Thanh shared.

The veterinary sector has sent staff to closely monitor the area, support livestock farmers in vaccination, and protect livestock."
* Unstable market, farmers still try to maintain livestock farming
Although after the Dinh Dau Tet 2017, the market had many strong fluctuations, especially the price of livestock fluctuated and was unstable, Mr. Tran Xuan Son's family in Hamlet 7, Nghia Hung Commune (Nghia Dan) still exported nearly 6,000 eggs from laying hens every day.
Currently, Mr. Son's family is raising 6,300 laying hens. Before Tet, he sold eggs for 1,800 VND/egg, now the price has dropped to 1,500 VND/egg. Although the price of eggs has dropped sharply, his family still focuses on improving the quality of farming.

In many localities, farmers have mobilized capital to invest in breeding animals, equipped with additional techniques, and developed livestock farming in the direction of clean goods. Local authorities also advised households not to panic, choose suitable livestock, avoid concentrated farming at the same time, which can easily lead to traders forcing down prices, and continue to have solutions to overcome difficulties for farmers such as: Strengthening the transfer of science and technology in livestock farming; protecting and developing livestock herds, minimizing damage caused by epidemics; developing models of livestock farming and farms in the form of group-household linkages, increasing economic value.
