Youth Union of military units offers incense to General Chu Huy Man

On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of General Chu Huy Man's birthday (March 17, 1913 - March 17, 2023), on the morning of March 11, cadres and union members of the Provincial Military Command, the 80th Information Brigade, the 283rd Air Defense Brigade, union members and youth of Hung Hoa commune came to offer incense, flowers, and conduct a general cleaning and decoration at the General Chu Huy Man Memorial House (Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city).

Attending the delegation were Colonel Duong Minh Hien - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, leaders of the Mass Affairs Department of Military Region 4; leaders of the 80th Information Brigade, the 283rd Air Defense Brigade, and the Party Committee and government of Hung Hoa commune.

After the general cleaning and tidying up, the officers and soldiers visited the exhibition area of ​​artifacts in the General Chu Huy Man Memorial Area. The delegation then offered incense to the General's spirit.

General Chu Huy Man's birth name is Chu Van Dieu, from Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city, Nghe An province; former member of the Politburo, former Vice Chairman of the State Council, former Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Party Committee, former Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army. The General has made important contributions to the development of Vietnamese military art. With his great and especially outstanding contributions, the General was awarded the Gold Star Order, the Ho Chi Minh Order, the 70-year Party membership badge and many other noble awards by the Party, the State and Laos.
