“Healthy family – sharing love” from the Fund for Vietnamese Stature, TH Group and BAC A BANK

At the festival, more than 1,000 families participated in special activities to promote health culture, as well as spread love in special ways. Food stalls, second-hand markets, Happy Trees... were all contributions and sharing to help the beloved Central region recover after storm Noru.

This is an initiative of the Foundation for Vietnamese Stature, an organization with the mission of contributing to the global sustainable development goals (SDGs) on education, health, and equality. In 2017, with the desire to bring school milk to poor children in Nghe An province, "Family Day" with the participation of more than 3,000 internal members of the enterprise was successfully organized. Not only bringing moments of connection, the program also raised 1.5 billion VND, thereby donating 202,000 cups of nutritious milk, contributing to the physical development of children in difficult circumstances and helping them go to school.

Continuing that noble gesture, this year's family festival continues to bring a space of love, sharing, promoting health movements, cultural activities and honoring the noble human values of the TH Group - BAC A BANK family; sending love, warm feelings, spreading positive energy to the people of the Central region.

Ngo Duc Phat, a 10P1 student at Vinh TH School, shared: “Coming to the festival with my father, witnessing everyone excitedly and voluntarily writing charity information on the Happy Leaf, happily contributing to support the people of Central Vietnam, including my hometown, I was very touched. Studying at TH School, I am not only equipped with knowledge and life skills, but also educated, knowing how to love and share more with the poor and those less fortunate than me.”

With many diverse activities, from the “True TALENT” art performance, “True HERO” sports festival, “True CONNECT” collective intelligence competition, to competitions for families, games, and competitions for children, the festival aimed at the message of “sharing love”, so that all families could contribute to supporting the people of Central Vietnam to rebuild and restore their lives after the storm and flood.

The spacious design in the green space of the festival is the “Community Booth” – inspired by the “flea market” model. This is where families bring their items that are still good but rarely used to resell to those in need. The booth has no sellers, only volunteers to guide participants, the price is attached to each item or is determined at a symbolic price. Clothes, books, electronics, household appliances… become “magnets” attracting thousands of people to choose to buy “old for others, new for us”. What is special is that the revenue from these items will be donated in part or in full by the seller to charity.

In the center of the event, the “Happiness Tree” is decorated solemnly and creatively, as a prominent check-in point, with “sharing leaves”. On each leaf, people will write their contact information, along with the amount of money they want to contribute, to the fundraising campaign “Love sent to the whole Central region”. Thousands of leaves represent thousands of loves and shares from the festival participants, becoming green buds of happiness.

This year’s “Healthy Family – Sharing Love” festival attracted 21 booths run by staff from the three units. These are places that provide food, drinks, products, and entertainment services to ensure the most comfortable and enjoyable experiences. A portion of the revenue from these activities will also be contributed to community activities.

Excitedly selling each cake and wrapping of fried dough sticks to customers, Ms. Nguyen Kim Hue - an employee of the Retail System Development Department, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank happily said: "This is not the first time we have participated in an event like this, but every time we are very excited. Apart from a few products that we cannot make ourselves, we order them from reputable suppliers, ensuring food safety, the rest of the food at the booth is prepared by the sisters all day Saturday. Not only do we make our own food and bring it to sell to raise funds, but we also voluntarily contribute a day's salary, hoping to share some of the difficulties with the people of the Central region, hoping that people will soon overcome the difficulties after the storm and flood and stabilize their lives."

As an event to connect and promote corporate culture, the festival is organized with continuous activities throughout the time frame, with competitions and a series of family activities, such as visiting exhibitions, shopping at booths, camping, free play, kayaking, cycling and children's games. In particular, members are encouraged to use personal items to limit single-use plastic items. Every 2 hours, the event has an announcement sound to collect waste, keeping the environment clean.

Sharing core values towards the humane community, over the years, the For Vietnamese Stature Fund, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and TH Group have jointly implemented many meaningful programs and activities, contributing to the implementation of sustainable development goals that Vietnam committed to the United Nations, focusing on goals of education, health, equity and environmental protection.

Sharing the same philosophy towards the community, for many years, the Fund for Vietnamese Stature, TH Group and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank have often accompanied closely in social activities. Most recently, last October, through Nghe An Newspaper, the 3 units donated 1 billion 150 million VND to the Central region people affected by storm Noru with the program "Love sent to the whole Central region".

The event also awarded an additional house, bringing the total number of houses supported for people in Ky Son district to 11. Previously, the units also awarded 74,000 cups of TH true MILK and healthy drinks to people in localities in Nghe An province.

Along with a series of other diverse activities, this year's family festival will successfully raise funds to help the beloved Central region recover after the devastating storm Noru. Speaking at the festival, Labor Hero Thai Huong said: The culture of sharing will be responded to and nurtured by all families of cadres and employees of the units for generations, especially the younger generation in their families and the surrounding community.

At the event, Labor Hero Thai Huong continued to mobilize staff to support the people of Central Vietnam affected by storm Noru. Her family alone donated 5 billion VND to the program, with the hope of helping people stabilize their lives soon after the storm and flood.
