Defeating the reigning champion Yen Thanh, ND Quy Hop entered the finals for the first time

The road to the semi-finals for the defending champion Yen Thanh was quite thorny. They finished second in Group D and met ND Dien Chau in the quarter-finals. In that match, the "rice country" players had to rely on luck to be able to make it into the top 4 strongest teams. Meanwhile, ND Quy Hop surprised everyone by advancing to the semi-finals with convincing victories.

With their physique and technique, the young players from Phu Quy continuously created dangerous attacks on the defending champion's goal. Under too much pressure, ND Yen Thanh was forced to lower their formation to defend tightly and wait for a counterattack opportunity.

However, the balance did not last long, right from the 3rd minute, player number 5 Le Nguyen Quang Minh had a tricky shot to open the score for ND Quy Hop.

Entering the second half, the defending champion was forced to attack, but when the opportunities kept passing by the opponent's goal, ND Quy Hop took advantage of their attacks. As a result, Quy Hop players doubled the gap in the 30th minute thanks to Tran Nhat Tien.

At this point, NĐ Yên Thành had nothing to lose, they rose up to attack fiercely, however, facing the solid defense of NĐ Quy Hợp, the defending champion's great strikers were helpless.

Not only that, in the final minutes of the match, player Hoang Trung Thong drowned all efforts of the defending champion with a classy finishing goal, ending Quy Hop's resounding 3-0 victory over Yen Thanh.

With this result, NĐ Quy Hop has made it to the finals of the season for the first time, and as for Yen Thanh, they officially became the former champion after a convincing defeat against their opponent.
