Nearly 10 days after the devastating flash flood, Binh Son 2 and Hoa Son villages of Ta Ca commune, part of Muong Xen town, Ky Son are still in disarray and struggling. Soldiers, police and other forces are still working hard to clear the roads, clear the roads, and clean up the aftermath of the flood.
About 4 km from Muong Xen, the road that was buried in mud and rocks has now been cleared, but seeing the devastated area after the flood, everyone cannot help but feel sad. At the foot of the mountain, where used to be a warm and happy village, is now littered with bricks and stones, wooden pillars lying bare, exposed to the sun.

In the harsh afternoon sun after the flood, the poor people of Binh Son 2 village still had their faces filled with shock. “The house was washed away. It was only one night and now I have nothing left. I saved up 10 million VND for a chance of illness, but the flood swept it all away; all the chickens and rice were also washed away,” said Moong Thi Nga, 45 years old, with a dark, haggard face. The flood swept away her house, after more than half her life of saving and saving, she returned to a life of poverty, even more poverty-stricken than when she first left her parents and got married.
In the same Ta Ca commune, diagonally opposite to the other side, Hoa Son village is also in a chaotic and messy situation. The people here are not panicked, not helpless, because in their misery, they have received many warm hearts. Only 24 years old this year, Ngan Thi Hau, Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, holds her 15-day-old baby in her arms, next to the remaining house, inside are stored essential household items and rice. "The night the flood swept away, my baby was only 10 days old, my brother was 4 years old, my husband and I took our baby and ran", Ngan Thi Hau said. More than a week has passed since the flood, the stream next to the government house is still red, everything is thanks to benefactors.

Joining hands with the people of Ky Son to overcome the difficulties after the recent flash flood, on October 8, TH Group, North Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BAB) in coordination with Nghe An Newspaper, went directly to the landslide areas of the district, donating 500 million VND to support the construction of 10 houses and 74,000 healthy products - including tens of thousands of glasses of TH true MILK fresh milk and TH true WATER purified water to the people.
Under the harsh sunlight, employees of TH Group, Bac A Bank, Nghe An Newspaper, and representatives of provincial departments and agencies all went together, shouldering each other, uphill carrying each barrel of water and each barrel of milk.

After a long journey to Ky Son, Ms. Thai Nga, President of the Trade Union of Bac A Joint Stock Commercial Bank, shared: "Looking at the people, I forgot everything, just carrying things." While his mother was still busy looking after his younger brother, a 4-year-old boy happily ran back, holding a carton of mineral water and fresh milk in his arms, sharing them with his friends, his innocent face sparkling with smiles under the afternoon sun, amidst the desolation, like warm rays of human love in times of trouble.
According to initial statistics, Ky Son district has 56 houses swept away and buried by flood, of which, Ta Ca commune alone has 54 houses, Muong Xen town has 1 house; 141 houses were severely damaged (Ta Ca commune has 79 houses, Muong Xen town has 62 houses); 36 houses were forced to evacuate and could not live due to the risk of landslides (Ta Ca commune has 30 houses and Bao Nam commune has 6 houses); hundreds of people are having to evacuate and temporarily live at the houses of acquaintances and relatives in the area.

After nearly 10 days since the flash flood, the water has receded and mud is continuing to be cleared, but there is still much work to be done to stabilize the lives of the people here.
Mr. Vi Van Hoe - Secretary of Ky Son District Party Committee said: In addition to the landslides in the traffic system, Ky Son is currently facing many difficulties in rebuilding houses and overcoming the damage. "In the past few days, with the help of the province, other districts, forces, and philanthropists, we are doing our best to soon bring a stable life to the people. However, due to the huge damage and the risk of insecurity, we are still facing many worries; traffic, people have no place to live, people's daily lives are very difficult, and the source of domestic water is not guaranteed" - Mr. Vi Van Hoe said.

“Before this flash flood, since the beginning of the year, TH Group and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, through the For Vietnamese Stature Fund, have supported Ky Son district to build 26 houses; helped and sponsored the poor, and built many other social works in the area. On this occasion, the enterprise continues to support. The Party Committee, the government and the people of Ky Son are very grateful and appreciative of that precious heart. The sharing of philanthropists and enterprises like TH Group is extremely valuable and practical in helping people stabilize their lives soon,” Mr. Vi Van Hoe emotionally said.
The Secretary of the Ky Son District Party Committee also added: In the immediate future, we will build temporary houses for people to have a place to live. In the longer term, the district is planning to resettle people and move them to live elsewhere, because currently, the areas that have been affected by landslides still have potential risks of being unsafe.

After Ky Son, tens of thousands of glasses of TH true MILK, TH true WATER and other healthy products of TH are continuing to be delivered to support people affected by storms and floods in Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Do Luong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong districts and Hoang Mai town.
