(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 14, the Standing Committee of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee held a conference to disseminate and implement Decisions 217 and 218 - QD/TU of the Politburo.

At the conference, delegates were informed of the basic contents of Decisions 217 and 218 of the Politburo. Decision No. 217 consists of 5 chapters and 19 articles regulating the purpose, nature, principles and subjects of social supervision and criticism; objects, contents, scope and methods of social supervision and criticism. Decision No. 218 - QD/TW "Regulations on the participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people in giving opinions on Party building and government building" consists of 5 chapters and 21 articles.

Through the conference, delegates will fully, specifically and in detail grasp the Politburo's decisions 217 and 218. From there, they will further promote democracy, rights and responsibilities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people in participating in Party and government building, contributing to a strong change in awareness of the work of supervision, social criticism and participation in giving opinions on Party and government building, strengthening the close and close relationship between the Party, the State and the people. Also at the conference, delegates were briefed on some situations related to China's placement of the 981 drilling rig in Vietnam's exclusive economic zone and continental shelf.
