Quynh Luu is a locality with many scenic spots, rich cultural traditions and potential for tourism development.

The district is likened to a miniature Nghe An. Nature has favored this land with fertile plains, midlands, mountains, rivers, lakes and sea. Quynh Luu coastline is 19.5km long, with many beautiful beaches such as Quynh Bang, Quynh Nghia; there are many untouched beaches such as Quynh Long, Quynh Luong, Quynh Minh.

The district currently has 193 inventoried relics, 31 ranked relics, including 15 national relics and 16 district relics. As a land with a long cultural history, Quynh Luu is famous for many unique traditional folk festivals such as Ky Phuc Festival (Quynh Doi), Cau Ngu Festival (Son Hai, Tien Thuy), Thuong Temple Festival (Quynh Nghia), Basket Boat Racing (Quynh Long), Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival (Quynh Thang, Tan Thang)...

In addition, the district also has many long-standing traditional craft villages such as ornamental flower growing, carpentry (Quynh Hong), incense making (Quynh Doi), carpentry (Quynh Hung), clean vegetable growing (Quynh Luong, Quynh Minh, Quynh Bang), and salt making in coastal communes.

Quynh Luu people's culture has many interwoven features but in general, they are very hospitable. That hospitality has created a friendly space and atmosphere for visitors. Currently, Quynh Luu has many businesses that have invested and are investing in building resorts, shopping centers, restaurants, and hotels.

Quynh Luu has been promoting the potential and advantages of sea tourism associated with cultural and historical tourism and commercial services to create a real change for tourism development, rapidly increasing the proportion of tourism in the economic development of the district. The annual Quynh sea tourism opening program is a practical activity to enhance the promotion of the land and people of Quynh Luu.

In order for Quynh Luu tourism to develop further, comrade Ho Ngoc Dung expressed his wish to receive more and more attention and support from all levels of industry and businesses in investing in infrastructure development, investing in tourist areas, connecting tours and routes so that more and more tourists will know and visit Quynh Luu.

Many delegates, locals and tourists enjoyed the special art program performed by famous artists such as Trong Tan, Anh Tho and the district art troupe.

Previously, as part of the series of activities of the Quynh Sea tourism opening program in 2018, Quynh Luu district organized cultural, artistic and sports activities to attract people and tourists to participate such as: Football competition; men's and women's beach volleyball; art photo exhibition; final round of the district's Sen Village Singing Festival; organizing trade booths and introducing typical products; Quynh Sea Charm Contest 2018; Quynh Luu tourism promotion seminar; culinary competition of restaurants in the district.

After the opening ceremony, the Quynh beach tourism opening program in 2018 continued with culinary and cultural exchange activities with the participation of many famous singers from April 27 to May 1.
