Bordering the East Sea to the East, Nghe An has 82 km of coastline, stretching through 5 coastal districts and towns: Hoang Mai town, Quynh Luu district, Dien Chau district, Nghi Loc district and Cua Lo town. On that 82 km of coastline, there are many beautiful beaches, with fine sand, clear blue water, gentle waves. Besides, there are countless large and small islands and mountains adjacent to or deep into the sea, creating wild natural landscapes.
When summer comes, Nghe An beaches are ideal and mysterious resorts for tourists to freely explore the beauty of the sea and islands; enjoy the fresh, rich seafood; as well as learn about the cultural sediments of the coastal villages with more than 300 historical and cultural relics and scenic spots that have been ranked at the national level. Each coastal area of Nghe An has a traditional folk festival. The festivals still preserve very unique cultural features.
Here are the most beautiful beaches in Nghe An in the 2023 tourism year:

As the easternmost land of Nghe An, Hoang Mai town is rich in cultural and historical values with 75 relics and scenic spots, nearly 80 intangible heritage values. Famous relics include Con Temple (the largest Mother Goddess worship center in the Central region, considered the most sacred place in Nghe An); Nha Le Canal; Rocket Cave - evidence of the sacrifice of 33 youth volunteers in the railway industry.

When visiting Hoang Mai, you cannot miss Quynh Phuong – Quynh Lien beach. Quynh Phuong beach is associated with the relic of Con Ngoai Temple (located on the top of lizard mountain near the coast). Standing at Con Ngoai, you can look down at the waves crashing on the rocks, and watch the fishing boats coming back from the open sea, very beautiful.
Quynh Phuong – Quynh Lien beach is almost still wild, only a small part of coastal services have been exploited. There are many rocky mountains stretching out to the sea. The coast is a flat, gentle, immense sandy beach. The sand here is yellow, with large grains, so walking barefoot on the sand feels very clean. The gentle waves at the sea create very attractive beaches.

Coming to Hoang Mai beach, any tourist will be amazed by the freshness of seafood such as shrimp, crab, squid, grouper, mackerel, sardines, sardines, blood cockles... with a characteristic sweet and rich taste. Hoang Mai fishing port is the source of nearly 40% of seafood for the whole Nghe An province and neighboring localities.

Quynh Luu beach is 19.5km long, with a terrain that combines mountains, sea, rivers and creeks. Along the coast are islands and casuarina forests, creating a sense of serenity and relaxation. This beach has many beautiful, flat sandy beaches and many unexplored, pristine beaches.
Each beach gives visitors different feelings: Tien Thuy beach is like a large poetic lake, surrounded by green pine hills on three sides; Quynh Bang beach has a strange rocky beach; Quynh Luong beach has the beautiful Quy Linh temple; Quynh Nghia beach is calm and ideal for swimming.

Nature has favored Quynh Luu beaches with gentle waves and fine white sand. Quynh beach possesses its own romantic, peaceful and extremely poetic beauty. Quynh Luu sea water is always clear, especially in the morning and afternoon, and has a high salinity, very suitable for the medical and relaxation needs of tourists.
Coming to Quynh Luu beach, tourists can freely swim in the sea and enjoy fresh seafood. It should be added that the seafood restaurants along the coast here are very suitable for the criteria of delicious - nutritious - cheap for backpackers. In particular, tourists should not forget to rent small boats to go along the large rocks to admire the beautiful cliffs and explore mysterious caves.

Coming to Quynh Luu, in addition to sea tourism, visitors should explore and learn about this land with a long cultural history. This is the hometown of the world cultural celebrity Ho Xuan Huong and many other talented people. The whole district currently has 193 inventoried relics, including 15 national relics. With 25 km of coastline, Dien Chau has wide, long beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see, and is elaborately decorated by nature with white sand and lush green mangrove and casuarina forests. These forests are a solid green wall that prevents storms and high tides and protects the ecological environment. The green wall is like undulating mountain ranges. This is a home to many species of birds.
The landscape of Dien Chau beaches is very wild, peaceful and romantic. Walking on these beaches, visitors can freely breathe the fresh air, watch the colorful sails hurrying back and forth on the sea at dawn, noon and sunset. The sails form long, winding streaks, looking from afar like giant moving butterflies. The scene of boats going and returning is like a group of horses racing to ride the waves... Coming here, visitors will feel their souls relaxed, forgetting all the fatigue, hardships and worries of daily life.

In Dien Chau, Dien Thanh beach is most beautiful at the transition between day and night. This beach has many restaurants but is not crowded but peaceful like in the countryside.
Next is Cua Hien beach – a place in legend and history. This beach witnessed the end of the legend of the Crossbow, Loa Thanh and the love story of My Chau – Trong Thuy. According to legend, this is where An Duong Vuong beheaded Princess My Chau and followed the Golden Turtle God into the sea, the origin of the legend of Ngoc Trai.

The beach in Cua Hien area is flat with fine sand. Cua Hien beach still retains its pristine beauty, being the only place in Nghe An without Lao wind. The special thing is that there are rocky beaches running along the edge of the sea. The rocks along the beach look like a "fish beach", so the locals call it Ngu Hai beach. On the outer edge there is a round rock, over 2m high, with a fairly flat top, called the fairy chess board. Legend has it that every time they come down to the mortal world, the fairies often land on this rock to play chess together, drink wine and admire the scenery of the earthly world... There are not many shops in Cua Hien and they still have the rustic character of the countryside, but the seafood here is always fresh and the prices are very affordable.

Nghi Loc sea area has many beautiful and attractive beaches such as Bai Lu, Bai Tien Phong (Nghi Tien), Cua Hien, Nui Rong (Nghi Thiet). In these beaches, the water is clear, the sand is clean, the waves are not big, the depth is gentle, the salinity is suitable, and the location is convenient for transportation, the natural environment is fresh... According to many research projects, the water in Bai Lu has a high mineral content because it is in the sediment of rocks, the sea is close to the mountains so it is very good for health.

The waves are not too big but gently lapping the shore, along with the long, gently sloping sand beach, visitors can comfortably play volleyball and soccer here.
Standing on the gate of heaven Lu Son, visitors can fully admire the landscape of a vast sea. To the sea, you can clearly see Song Ngu, Dao Mat, Lan Chau and closer to the mainland are Hung Linh, Lan Chau, Dragon Mountain, Lo Mountain, Co Mountain, Kiem Mountain, Chuong Ga, Mao Mountain, Tuong Son (Elephant Mountain), Quyet Son. Mui Rong Beach is suitable for exploring and relaxing because it has a smooth, safe, deserted sand beach, with few shops and services around. It will be very interesting if you come here with a group of friends, bring food and organize camping on the beach.

With hundreds of years of history, this place has a dense system of relics, many of which have been put into tourism development, including: Hieu Village Temple; Mai Bang Temple; Van Loc Temple; Ngu Pagoda...
Ngu Pagoda is located on Song Ngu Island. This island is located between Cua Lo and Cua Hoi seaports, about 4km from Cua Lo beach. Visitors can get here by boat, canoe, and sail for about 20 minutes. Song Ngu Island is beautiful and pristine with many outstanding highlights such as a beautiful pebble beach with a gentle slope, Tien beach with clear, cool water, and beautiful scenery.
