Previously, through intelligence gathering, the Quy Hop District Police discovered two suspects involved in illegal activities related to fireworks. The suspects operated very cleverly and recklessly, and notably, one of them was from another locality. Based on consolidated documents and evidence, at 9:00 AM on December 16, 2023, in Block 11, Quy Hop town, Quy Hop district (Nghe An province), the Quy Hop District Police successfully arrested two suspects: Hoang Chi Son (born in 1998), residing in Chau Quang commune, Quy Hop district (Nghe An province), and Nguyen Van Ngoc (born in 1994), residing in Thanh Lien commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An province), for the crime of "Possessing prohibited goods". They seized 140 kg of various types of fireworks, one car, five mobile phones, 25 million VND in cash, and one motorbike.
Currently, the investigation into this case is ongoing and being expanded.
