Prosecuted 2 subjects for possessing more than 100 kg of fireworks
(Baonghean.vn) - The Investigation Police Agency of Quy Hop District Police has just issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute 2 suspects for the act of "Possessing prohibited goods".
Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Quy Hop District Police discovered 2 suspects related to illegal activities related to fireworks. The subjects' activities were very sophisticated and reckless, especially, one of them was from another locality. A special project was established to combat the behavior of "Possession of prohibited goods”.
Consolidating documents and evidence, at 9:00 a.m. on December 16, 2023, at Block 11, Quy Hop Town, Quy Hop District (Nghe An), Quy Hop District Police successfully arrested two subjects, Hoang Chi Son (born in 1998), residing in Chau Quang Commune, Quy Hop (Nghe An) and Nguyen Van Ngoc (born in 1994), residing in Thanh Lien Commune, Thanh Chuong (Nghe An) for the act of "Possessing prohibited goods". Confiscated 140 kg of various types of fireworks, 1 car, 5 mobile phones, 25 million VND in cash and 1 motorbike.
Currently, the case is under further investigation.
