10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An: More than 70 candidates dropped out after the first exam
(Baonghean.vn) - There were 31,202 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for 56 high schools across the province. But right in the first exam session, many candidates dropped out.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Deputy Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training, at the end of the exam, statistics from the exam councils showed that more than 100 candidates did not come to the exam site. However, about 30 students did not meet the graduation requirements; the remaining 72 candidates skipped the exam without any reason.

Candidates who dropped out of the exam were concentrated in mountainous and coastal districts such as Thai Hoa, Nghia Dan, Anh Son, Quynh Luu, and Dien Chau. In addition, some candidates dropped out due to accidents before the exam.
The first exam was assessed as serious and safe, with no candidates or invigilators suspended or violating exam regulations.
