Savings interest rates at the counter

Sacombank has maintained its savings deposit interest rates unchanged since August last year. Accordingly, the highest current interest rate is 5.7% per year for online savings deposits with terms of 24-36 months and interest paid at the end of the term.

A survey conducted on March 7th showed that Sacombank's over-the-counter deposit interest rates remained unchanged compared to February 2025. Currently, deposit interest rates range from 2.8% to 5.2% per year, depending on the term from 1 to 36 months.

Specifically, the interest rate for savings deposits at the counter is 2.8% per year for terms of 1 to under 2 months, and 2.9% per year for terms of 2 to under 3 months. The interest rate for terms of 3 to under 4 months is 3.2% per year. For a 6-month term, the applicable interest rate is 4.2% per year, and for a 9-month term, it is 4.3% per year.

Interest rates for 12-month and 15-month terms are both at 4.9% per year. Meanwhile, interest rates for 18-month, 24-month, and 36-month terms are maintained at 4.9% per year, 5% per year, and 5.2% per year, respectively. The highest interest rate of 5.2% per year applies to terms of 36 months or more. For short-term deposits under one month, the savings interest rate remains at 0.5% per year.

Online deposit interest rates

With online deposit options, interest rates at Sacombank remain unchanged at around 3.3% - 5.7% per year. Accordingly, the interest rate for 1 and 2-month terms is 3.5% per year, while the rate for terms from 3 to 5 months is slightly higher, reaching 3.6% per year.

For terms of 6-11 months, the online savings interest rate is 4.9% per year. For 12-13 month terms, the rate increases to 5.4% per year, for 15 months it's 5.5% per year, and for 16 months it's 5.6% per year. If depositing for 24-36 months, customers will enjoy the highest interest rate of 5.7% per year.
