In the chilly weather of early spring, the smell of grilled fish mixed with the smoke from charcoal stoves exudes the rich flavor of a coastal countryside.

Xuan Loc Hamlet (Nghi Xuan Commune) has nearly 10 households that make fish. In addition to spending time fishing at sea, the men in the hamlet also help their wives prepare the fish for grilling.
