Brigade 215 begins training in 2026.
On the morning of March 2nd, in Quynh Tam commune, Nghe An province, Brigade 215 held a ceremony to launch its 2026 training program. Attending the ceremony was Major General Hoang Van Loi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Armored Corps.
As a unit directly under the Armored Corps, Brigade 215 is determined to enter a new era with renewed offensive power. Accelerating and breaking through are requirements arising from practical realities, primarily in the area of training.
The 215th Tank Brigade has defined its training direction and tasks comprehensively from the headquarters to the units, mastering new and modern weapons, focusing on building a strong and comprehensive brigade, determined to train well, maintain high combat readiness, high discipline, and absolute safety. It will firmly grasp combined arms tactics, excel in tank and armored vehicle tactics and techniques, and emphasize practical training, night training, mobility training, and countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles…
The training period will run from March 2nd to December 15th, 2026, and will be divided into two phases.
Acknowledging and appreciating the results achieved in training in 2025, the leadership of the Armored Corps requested Brigade 215 to continue implementing the training plan for 2026. This includes strengthening the leadership and guidance of the Party committee and commanders, while also focusing on innovation and improving the quality of training, prioritizing education and training, and building a strong armored personnel base throughout the army.
On this occasion, the Ministry of National Defence awarded the title of "Exemplary and Comprehensive Strong Unit" to the 215th Tank Brigade for its outstanding and comprehensive achievements in fulfilling its 2025 mission. It also awarded the "Excellent Training Unit" flag to the unit for its outstanding performance in combat training in 2025. The unit launched a training emulation campaign for 2026, a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The training commencement ceremony of Brigade 215 concluded with a parade and a synchronized performance by officers, soldiers, and the Women's Association of the Brigade, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, demonstrating their determination to successfully complete their tasks in 2026.
