Nghe An: Five more traditional craft villages recognized.
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued Decision No. 5574/QD-UBNND recognizing 5 villages with traditional crafts as achieving the title of Traditional Craft Village in 2018, bringing the total number of traditional craft villages in the province to 151.

Five new craft villages were recognized by the Provincial People's Committee in 2018, including: Ban Buoc Brocade Weaving Village, Bac Ly Commune (Ky Son); Keo Luc Brocade Weaving Village, Pha Danh Commune (Ky Son); Ban Diem Brocade Weaving Village, Chau Khe Commune (Con Cuong); Yen Long Civil Woodworking Village (Thanh Chuong); and Ma Thanh Civil Woodworking Village (Yen Thanh).
The province currently has 152 craft villages, providing employment for over 20,000 workers with an average income of 40 million VND per person per year.
