In just a few days, the 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An will officially be held with the participation of nearly 39,000 candidates. In addition, Nghe An province will also mobilize nearly 6,000 personnel to invigilate and grade the exam.
According to the school year plan, by May 31, all schools across the province will finish and hold the closing ceremony for the 2024-2025 school year. Experience from previous years shows that most of the applications to Dien Chau 2 High School are "transferred" but the fluctuations are not much. The 10th grade entrance exam is scheduled to be held on June 3 and 4 with three subjects: Literature, Math and Foreign Language.
This year, the exam has a change in timing, 2 days earlier than previous years.
After the exam, changing wishes and processing documents only takes place on June 5 and 6. This is the first year that Nghe An has implemented bonus points for students who won provincial prizes and competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or ministerial-level agencies.
This is the first exam to be conducted according to the 2018 General Education Program with a new exam structure. The time for the Literature and Math exams is 120 minutes, and the Foreign Language exam is 60 minutes, closely following the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, with high practicality and applicability.
In preparation for the 10th grade entrance exam, Nghe An Department of Education and Training has established an exam steering committee and issued a plan to organize the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, ensuring the timeline and assigning clear tasks and responsibilities. Issuing an inspection plan; coordination documents between the Department and the Provincial Police, with other departments, branches and localities to organize the exam well.
