


The government and people of Ulyanov province have paid attention and created the best conditions for Nghe An province to build and inaugurate the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Ulyanov city, Ulyanov province in June 2017.
This is a project of great significance, expressing the affection of the people of Nghe An province, U-li-an-op province and the Vietnamese community living in U-li-an-op province for President Ho Chi Minh.


The U-lyanop city government changed the name of High School 76 to Ho Chi Minh High School on June 5, 2017. Ho Chi Minh High School currently has 1,230 students. This school has a souvenir room displaying and introducing the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and the image of the country and people of Vietnam; signed a memorandum of understanding on educational cooperation between Ho Chi Minh High School, U-lyanop city and Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted of Nghe An province.


The Vietnamese Solidarity Association in Ulyanov province, Russian Federation was established in 2004. After nearly 20 years of operation, the Association was admitted by the Ulyanov provincial government to become a member of the Council of Nationalities of Ulyanov province and participated in exchange activities with member associations on the basis of the annual plan of the ethnic community organization of Ulyanov province.

Currently, the Association has more than 200 members, has carried out many charitable activities in Vietnam and the Russian Federation, such as: supporting the Homeland Sea and Island Fund, supporting the Central region people affected by natural disasters, supporting and helping members in difficult circumstances, providing legal advice to members and the community, promoting and organizing holidays to promote the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people... The Association has coordinated with the leaders of U-lyanov province to welcome delegations of leaders of Nghe An province, delegations of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation and delegations of Vietnam to visit and work in U-lyanov province.
