Besides the famous destinations that are known to many people, on this occasion we will introduce some attractive tours and destinations in Western Nghe An that have just been built and exploited, promising to bring visitors new experiences and feelings about the land that still contains many mysteries.

For a long time, Pu Mat National Park in Con Cuong district has been visited by many tourists to explore and enjoy the beauty of Giang - Pha Lai river, Khe Kem waterfall and the community tourism spots of Xieng village (Mon Son commune), Nua village (Yen Khe commune) ... Recently, a number of tourist groups have come to Pu Mat with the desire to go deep to discover the interesting things hidden in the great forest. To reach that desire, these groups of tourists all choose the form of trekking (walking), both to show their bravery and desire to conquer, to exercise and have more time to admire the immense landscape.

This trekking tour is designed to go along the Giang River, starting from Pha Lai Dam, near the center of Mon Son Commune and ending at Co Phat Village, where the Dan Lai people live. The journey is about 20km long, lasting about 2 days, depending on the health and experience needs of each person.
On the trekking journey, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the majestic mountains and poetic Giang River. Especially, they will experience the cultural and culinary life of the local people, thereby demonstrating their ability to conquer challenges. The destination is Co Phat village, home to dozens of households of the Dan Lai ethnic group - a community living in the core area of Mu Mat National Park for hundreds of years.

Overnight stay in Co Phat, at the source of Giang river, tourists will enjoy grilled fish, sip wine soaked with medicinal roots in the forest and listen to the story of the tragic escape to the end of the mountain and water. From there, understand more about the custom of sleeping sitting of the Dan Lai people. And after a deep sleep in the middle of the forest, waking up to breathe fresh air, having breakfast, the backpackers will go back to Pha Lai dam, ending the exciting journey.

In recent years, Puxailaileng peak in Na Ngoi commune (Ky Son) has begun to welcome groups of visitors from other provinces, mainly from the two major central cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. With an altitude of 2,720m above sea level, Puxailaileng peak is considered the "Roof of the Northern Truong Son range", a place to test the courage of visitors who love adventure and have the desire to conquer challenges.

After surveys, Puxailaileng peak is evaluated by tourism experts and travel agencies as a unique product of Nghe An tourism. Because, not only in height, this mountain peak also contains the mysteries of nature with primeval cold forests, attractive vegetation, and a unique climate. In particular, visitors will pass through "cloud rivers", check-in in the majestic "sea of clouds" or "hunt" for beautiful clouds.
However, to reach the top of Puxailaileng, visitors must be truly brave, physically fit and have endurance. Because this place is located near the Vietnam - Laos border, about 300km from Vinh city, traveling by many means of transport (pickup truck, motorbike and walking) with a total time of about 2 - 3 days. This destination is suitable for young people and those who love to "travel" and have the desire to conquer the peaks.

With an altitude of about 1,500m and a mild climate all year round, Muong Long commune in the remote Ky Son district is considered the "Sa Pa of Nghe An".
This is also the long-standing residence of the Mong people with distinctive cultural features still preserved. From the village space, house architecture to customs, habits, language, costumes and music still bear the strong identity of the residents living on the high mountain peaks covered with clouds all year round.
In the last months of the year, plum and peach blossoms begin to bloom throughout the forests and gardens, bringing vitality to the villages hidden in the mist and clouds. Visitors to Muong Long feel as if they are lost in a paradise, reminiscent of fairy tales.
At this time, the harvest is almost finished, the Mong people start their exciting fun. If you are lucky enough to come on the right day, you will be able to join the Pao throwing festival with boys and girls in colorful costumes; hear the sound of the flute calling friends echoing throughout the mountains and forests, from the upper village to the lower village. Especially the buffalo and bull fighting festival will bring excitement when witnessing the decisive battles of the "gladiators".
Currently, Muong Long has a Homestay with culinary services for tourists, ensuring safety and cleanliness to increase the joy and excitement of the 2-day, 1-night experience in "Sa Pa of Nghe An".

In the concept of the Thai people in the Northwest of Nghe An, Chau Kim commune (Que Phong) was formerly called Muong Ton, the center of "Nine villages and ten muongs". Because this is where there is a Nine-chamber temple worshiping the gods and ancestors of the Thai people. The Thai villages in Chau Kim still retain their strong identity, all aspects of life are increasingly improved, the village space is always green - clean - beautiful.
Not long ago, the Co Muong community tourism site in Chau Kim was built and put into operation, initially highly appreciated by tourists. The attraction of Co Muong is the space imbued with Thai culture, from the stilt house to the types of utensils, tools for living and production for tourists to experience. Besides, there are traditional dishes prepared by skillful hands, bringing the typical flavor of the mountains and forests along with exciting cultural and artistic exchange programs...
From Co Muong, visitors can spend time going up the mountain to worship Chin Gian Temple, a famous sacred temple in the Western region of Nghe An. Or go up to Chau Thon commune to experience the pace of life at Nhat Minh Farmstay, which is also a newly formed and attractive tourist destination. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the clouds and mountain winds; admire the majestic scenery of the great forest and enjoy the space imbued with nostalgic colors; and enjoy the products of the Western region.

If you have time, you can go to Dong Van, Thong Thu to take a cruise to explore the scenery of Hua Na hydroelectric lake and enjoy fish and shrimp, which are considered specialties of Que land. It is guaranteed that after coming here once, many tourists will arrange to return here in the nearest day.
