The Wuling - HongGuang Mini EV electric car is now available at the Wuling Nghe An Showroom.
(Baonghean.vn) - In Vinh City, Green Energy Automotive Trading and Service Company Limited - Vinh Branch recently inaugurated the Wuling Nghe An Showroom. Initially, this dealership will focus primarily on the Wuling - HongGuang mini EV product line, with two versions: LV1 and LV2.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Bui Quang Huy – member of the Board of Directors of TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company; and Mr. Tran Minh Quan – Director of Green Energy Automobile Trading and Service Company Limited - Vinh Branch.
According to data from global automotive data provider JATO Dynamics, the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV has been the world's best-selling mini electric car for the past three years. In 2022 alone, the Chinese model sold over half a million units globally.
The Wuling Hongguang Mini EV was developed by the General Motors (GM) – (SAIC – Wuling) joint venture, abbreviated as SGMW. This joint venture has authorized TMT Motors to exclusively manufacture, assemble, and distribute Wuling brand electric vehicles in Vietnam.
In Nghe An, after nearly a month of operation, the Wuling Nghe An dealership has attracted considerable attention from customers near and far. Notably, nearly 300 customers visited the showroom and over 400 participated in test drives of Wuling's vehicle models. Furthermore, the Wuling Nghe An showroom successfully signed more than 15 contracts in its first month in the Vinh, Nghe An market. This demonstrates the trust and high regard customers have for the quality and potential of the product.
Currently, Wuling Nghe An focuses primarily on the Wuling - HongGuang mini EV product line, with two versions, LV1 and LV2, capable of traveling up to 120km and 170km respectively, at prices ranging from 239 to 279 million VND.
However, in 2024, the showroom is expected to launch three more new, diverse, and comprehensive products to better meet the needs of Vietnamese consumers in the A and B sedan segments.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Quan – Vinh Branch of Green Energy Automotive Trading and Service Company Limited – emphasized: “The trend of expanding into the green sector in general and electric vehicles in particular is an inevitable trend in countries in the region and around the world. At the same time, mini electric vehicles will be a positive trend to replace two-wheeled motorcycles in the future. We are ready for the mission of providing green, environmentally friendly vehicles with dedicated service, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction with TMT products.”
The grand opening ceremony saw hundreds of customers visit the Wuling Nghe An Showroom to experience and test drive the various car models. Especially during the opening week, Wuling Nghe An will offer many promotions for customers, such as cash discounts and accessory gifts when customers sign a contract.
