US delegation to travel to Singapore to prepare for US-North Korea summit
A US government task force will go to Singapore to prepare a specific location for the meeting between the US and North Korean leaders, as announced by Sarah Sanders - Press Secretary of President Donald Trump.

"The White House advance team will travel to Singapore as scheduled to make preparations, should the summit still take place," Sanders told reporters.

Politico previously reported that about 30 White House and State Department staff would be flown to Singapore to help with on-site logistics for the summit.
According to the magazine's data, this advance team was supposed to fly there on Sunday, and so far this plan remains in effect.
