Naked man's body found on Lam River

On the evening of January 25, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam in Nam Thuong commune, Nam Dan district, while rowing a boat carrying a herd of goats to graze in the Bai Noi area of Thanh Khai commune, Thanh Chuong district, discovered the body of a naked man floating on the Lam River, past the Tram Mot Temple, and the Yen Ngua Strait, which borders the two communes.
Mr. Nam brought the body close to the shore, tied it with a rope and reported it to the Thanh Khai commune police force.
After receiving the news, Thanh Khai Commune Police coordinated to organize the salvage, notify the authorities and widely announce on the media to search for the victim's relatives.
At around 8:30 p.m., some residents of Nam Thanh commune confirmed that this was the body of Mr. Bui Huu Trai, residing in hamlet 5B, Nam Thanh commune, Nam Dan district, who had been missing since the afternoon of January 23.
According to his family, Mr. Trai has a wife and two children. His son has been working abroad in Russia for 10 years and has not returned, while his daughter is married and lives nearby. Mr. Trai currently lives alone and occasionally drinks alcohol.
On the afternoon of January 23, Mr. Trai followed a football cheering group, possibly lost his way and drowned.
Through initial examination, Mr. Trai’s body was found naked, with a scratch about 10 cm long on his buttocks. Currently, according to his wishes, the authorities have allowed his family to take his body home for burial./.
