The West is trying to shake things up in Russia but to no avail.
The West does not shy away from anything in trying to shake up the situation inside Russia, but their efforts are in vain, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"The Western collective does not disdain anything in trying to shake up the situation in the country, but here it also failed. Once again, the level of national unity around the president is so high that all Western efforts are in vain," Peskov said in an interview with Russian media.
According to him, economically, Russia's ability to minimize risks from pressure from Western countries is still quite good.

“In addition, of course, effective measures are being taken to counter attempts to interfere in our internal affairs: what we were reluctant to do before, we are now finally doing directly. It is time to make concrete decisions - without hesitation or equivocation,” the Kremlin representative stressed.
Kremlin calls anti-Russia sanctions illegal
"You and I are living in a time when we are surrounded from many sides by very unfriendly, hostile tendencies. The atmosphere is not constructive, we live under unprecedented economic sanctions that we consider completely illegal and we are increasingly adapting to this," Peskov said.
