Opening of the National Propaganda Poster Exhibition 2006-2007

On the morning of December 16th, the Department of Grassroots Culture and Information, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee, organized the "Opening Ceremony of the National Propaganda Poster Exhibition 2006-2007". Attending the event were members of the Department of Grassroots Culture and Information, representatives from the Departments of Culture of provinces in the North Central and Central Highlands regions, and many painters and artists from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong – Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – also attended and cut the ribbon to officially open the exhibition.

This exhibition showcases 100 works by 65 professional and amateur artists nationwide, selected through competitions organized by the Department of Culture and Information at the grassroots level. These works serve the purpose of promoting political tasks and the goals of economic, social, and cultural development, as well as accelerating industrialization, modernization, and international integration of the country.

On the same day, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Cultural Center also held a seminar and launched a competition for creating propaganda posters to promote the campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" nationwide.
