Longevity celebration of Thai people

Bac Son - a remote commune of Quy Hop district, is a commune of pure Thai ethnic group. Right from the beginning of 2007, implementing the policy of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, under the direction of the Standing Committee of Quy Hop District Party Committee, the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee chose Bac Son commune to build a model of "Building a cultural lifestyle, preserving national cultural identity". After a year of building the model, the results achieved were very positive.

Up to now, the whole commune has 5/7 villages achieving the title of cultural unit, 272/334 cultural families, 2 villages achieving the title of excellent advanced residential area, mobilizing 100% of children to go to school... Bac Son people always actively participate in activities to celebrate the anniversaries of major national and local holidays organized by the district and commune. Villages and communes regularly maintain an art troupe, men's and women's volleyball teams, soccer teams, athletes of ethnic sports... thanks to that, the movement to build cultural villages and cultural families continues to be promoted, cultural identity is maintained and maintained in community life. Weddings and funerals are voluntarily organized by most people in accordance with the conventions and covenants of the new cultural lifestyle but still ensuring identity, Bac Son chose Vi village to establish the "Folk Culture Club". The club operates with specific regulations and plans. Every month, the club organizes activities twice a month. The activities include: Introducing the use of traditional folk musical instruments, organizing the collection and performance of Thai folk songs such as hat lam, hat suoi, nhuon... The activities have attracted 25 members who love Thai folk songs to participate. This is a type of voluntary social activity that attracts a large number of members to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the cultural identity of the Thai people.
