(Baonghean) -In the quiet of the night, everyone was suddenly startled by a loud cry: fire, the market is on fire. Many people ran out and saw the fire raging, lighting up the whole area. In less than two hours, the fire had completely burned down 20 small traders' kiosks.

The fire broke out at around 1am on September 19 at Muong Xen market (Ky Son district, Nghe An). The fire started from the clothing kiosks.

Upon receiving the news, the People's Committee of Ky Son district mobilized police, military, border guards, people and traders to put out the fire and save property.

Because the fire broke out in the middle of the night in a clothing store, the fire spread very quickly, making it difficult for firefighters to put out the fire. It took nearly two hours to completely control the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties. However, 20 kiosks of small traders were completely burned down. The damage was in the billions of dong.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
