(Baonghean) -Continuing the monitoring program, on September 27, the Economic - Budget Committee, Nghe An Provincial People's Council chaired by comrade Tran Quoc Chung - Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee had a meeting with the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the implementation of important projects and works of the province using State budget capital under the sector as the investor.

At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the implementation of projects in the field of heritage and relics in the province, including: the project to preserve and embellish the Kim Lien historical and cultural relic site associated with tourism development; the project to preserve and promote the value of Soviet - Nghe Tinh relics; the project to preserve and embellish the Truong Bon historical relic site; the project to build Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Memorial House; and the project to build Phung Chi Kien relic site.

The leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the implementation of projects invested by the department.

Up to this point, only the project to preserve and embellish the Kim Lien historical and cultural relic site associated with tourism development in Nam Dan district has been implemented with a basic volume, the remaining projects are still too small in volume, even the Phung Chi Kien relic site project with a total investment of 25 billion VND but currently only has 240 million VND to complete investment procedures. In general, projects in the heritage and relic sector require caution and meticulousness, so many seminars must be organized from central to local levels to get opinions, the consultation and appraisal stages are also quite complicated. During the implementation process, there are different ideas and theories that must be adjusted, while the consulting unit in Nghe An does not have one, it must contract with consulting units in Hanoi, so when wanting to adjust, it must invite the consulting unit or the Department must go directly to Hanoi. However, the industry is trying to overcome these problems, but the most difficult problem at present is the issue of arranging too little capital to start projects, and the slow site clearance. The industry also affirmed that the construction of cultural works is quite complicated, but it is not difficult to meet the requirements of the approved planning and design.

Next, the Supervisory Delegation directly supervised the implementation of the project to preserve and embellish the Truong Bon Historical Site in Do Luong District. On behalf of the Supervisory Delegation, comrade Tran Quoc Chung shared the difficulties of the industry in implementing the project, because the project has spiritual significance, requiring careful implementation. He also affirmed that the projects that the industry is investing in are key projects, so the industry needs to direct more actively to ensure that the projects are built to meet the requirements of the approved design, meeting the expectations of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province. At the same time, there are solutions to coordinate to speed up the progress of site clearance, take advantage of conditions to attract capital and disburse to prioritize the settlement of each important project item.
