Yen Thanh Police: Arrested for transporting prohibited goods

(Baonghean) -At 3:00 p.m. on November 3, in the Yen Thanh district town area, the Yen Thanh district traffic police patrol team discovered a car with license plate 37S-2347 (4-seat tourist car) running at a high speed of 67/50 km/h.

The patrol team signaled to stop the car, but the subject suddenly accelerated and fled from Yen Thanh town to Cau Bung. With the support of the people, the patrol team chased and stopped the car and brought it to the district police headquarters for questioning. Through inspection, it was discovered that the subject Le Van Doan, born in 1970, residing in Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu, was transporting 11 ferrets and 02 porcupines (family of porcupines) with a total weight of 46kg.

Currently, the CA has prepared a file to proceed with processing according to regulations.
