Autumn Music Festival

(Baonghean)Recently, a delegation from Namyangju City (South Korea), led by Deputy Mayor Parkyshu, visited Vinh City. In addition to several important working sessions, the two evenings of cultural exchange (October 25th and 26th, 2011) themed "Autumn Music Festival" left a lasting impression.

The art exchange night was attended by Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Interior of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of the Vinh City People's Committee.

Namyangju is a city in Gyeonggi Province (South Korea). Since November 15, 2005, Namyangju and Vinh City have established a good relationship, and this affection has been preserved year after year. During this visit and cultural exchange, 43 members of the Namyangju City choir presented outstanding performances to the audience in Vinh City.

Although unable to attend the program, Mr. Yshacuy, Mayor of Namyangju City, sent kind words to Vinh City: “…Over the past time, thanks to political exchanges, student exchanges, and exchanges between businesses, we have achieved great successes. During this visit, the choir of Namyangju City has prepared special performances with the aim of exploring and exchanging cultures between the two cities…”.
