(Baonghean.vn) This morning (December 31), in Vinh city, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held the 4th Ho Xuan Huong Literature and Arts Award Ceremony (2005-2010). Attending were comrades Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; To Hong Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

The fourth season (2005-2010) attracted the participation of 159 works, series of works by 157 authors, groups of authors including genres of poetry, literature, music and dance, critical theory, folk literature, photography (art, fine arts), fine arts, theater...

As a result, 112 works by authors and groups of authors won prizes, of which 9 works won A prizes; 26 works won B prizes; 41 works won C prizes; 36 works won consolation prizes. Nghe An Newspaper had 2 authors winning prizes: journalist Sy Minh - A prize with a series of artistic photos (Bustling village crafts, Love of Vietnam and Laos, Light from the ground, Determined to win, Village competition) and Nguyen Van Hung - C prize with the work Uncle Ho in our hearts - critical theory category.

Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Duc Phoc congratulated and thanked the artists for their contributions in the field of literature and art to the cause of innovation of the homeland and the country, and expressed his hope that in the new year 2012, the artists will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, through their works of art, contributing to promoting the image of Nghe An to domestic and international friends.
