Prosecution initiated against individuals involved in the illegal buying, selling, and transportation of fireworks.

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 8th, the Dien Chau District Police decided to initiate criminal proceedings and indict Ngo Kim Nam (born in 1983), residing in Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district; Nguyen Duc Tien (born in 1960), Nguyen Thanh Dong (born in 1981), both residing in Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district; and Nguyen Duc Tuan (born in 1964) for the illegal buying, selling, and transporting of fireworks.

These individuals were part of a special operation codenamed 1211P, launched by the Dien Chau District Police in December 2011, which resulted in the seizure of nearly 100kg of various types of fireworks manufactured in China.
