Three individuals were arrested for transporting 11.5 kg of fireworks.

At 9 PM on January 15th, in Thanh Cong village, Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu district, the Lach Quen Border Guard Post (Nghe An Border Guard Command) arrested two individuals: Tran Van Toan (born in 1967) and Le Dinh Tai (born in 1987, both residing in Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district) for illegally transporting 6.5 kg of firecrackers originating from China. Previously, the post also discovered and arrested Bui Ngoc Dung (born in 1987, residing in Hamlet 7, Quynh Thuan commune) for transporting 5 kg of firecrackers.

Items seized as evidence of violation

The station issued administrative fines totaling 18.5 million VND to three individuals and confiscated 11.5 kg of fireworks from them.

Illegal use of firearms

At 10:30 AM on January 15th, in Nam Khien village (Nam Can commune, Ky Son district), a patrol team from the Nam Can Border Guard Post (Nghe An Border Guard Command) apprehended La Van Te (38 years old, residing in Xong Con village, Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district) for illegally using a muzzle-loading rifle. The post imposed an administrative fine of 1,000,000 VND on the suspect, to be paid into the state budget, and confiscated the weapon.
