What is worrying is that attacks are becoming more and more sophisticated, and the vulnerable points are the security holes of organizations that do not update patches in time.

At the National Conference and Exhibition "Cloud Computing & Security 2012" organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security in Hanoi on March 22, Major General Nguyen Viet The, Director of the Department of Professional Informatics, General Department of Logistics and Technology, Ministry of Public Security said: In 2011 and the first months of 2012, the information security situation is still extremely hot. The risk of attacks exists everywhere, the attackers are diverse, and the victims do not spare any organization or individual.

In 2011 alone, Vietnam had 64.2 million computers infected with viruses, an average of 175,000 computers infected every day; 2,245 websites of agencies and businesses were attacked by hackers in many forms, an average of 187 websites were "visited" every month. In particular, in the first 3 months of 2012 alone, it is estimated that more than 400 websites became victims of hackers.

The worrying thing is that the attacks are becoming more and more sophisticated, the weak points that are easily exploited are the security holes of the organizations due to not updating the patches in time. Meanwhile, the traces of the attacks are getting fewer and fewer, making the search and finding of the perpetrators more and more complicated.
