(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of March 14, Vinh City People's Committee held a working session with relevant units and chairmen of 25 wards and communes in the area to simultaneously clear sidewalk corridors, ensuring traffic safety, urban order, and environmental sanitation in the city. Comrade Le Quoc Hong - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee chaired.

To implement the Traffic Safety Year, the Vinh City Party Committee has issued Directive 05, and the City People's Committee has also issued many documents, directives, and plans to implement the work of ensuring traffic safety, urban order, and environmental sanitation. The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee have also worked with the City and assigned the City People's Committee to deploy specific steps to effectively carry out this work.



Vinh City held a meeting to deploy troops to clear corridors and ensure security and order.

The City People's Committee requests functional agencies and wards and communes to implement specific and practical solutions to effectively clear sidewalk corridors; assign direct responsibility to the heads. Strive to complete by the end of April 2012, in the area, basically resolving step 1 of urban order for constructions violating traffic safety corridors and urban sidewalks that do not require compensation, so that in 2012, encroachment and re-occupation can be basically resolved.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Quoc Hong requested that on the morning of March 15, all 25 wards and communes simultaneously launch their campaigns with a determined and synchronous spirit, creating consensus among the people. After the 25th of each month, the leaders of the wards and communes are responsible for reporting on the clearance work to the City People's Committee.
