Vinh City Police: Arrest 2 suspects for trafficking marijuana.

(Baonghean)The Vinh City Police have just cracked case 412C, arresting and conducting an urgent search of two suspects for the illegal trafficking of narcotics. These suspects specialized in buying marijuana (cannabis) from Laos and bringing it to Nghe An province for distribution.

After a period of investigation, on April 23, 2012, the Drug Crime Investigation Team of the Vinh City Police Department executed an arrest and search warrant against Nguyen Tu Hoai (born in 1983), residing in Yen Giang Hamlet, Vinh Tan Ward, and Le Cam Van (born in 1991), residing in Hamlet 3, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City. During the search, the police seized 275 marijuana cigarettes from Hoai's bedroom and 55 marijuana cigarettes from Le Cam Van's private residence. When the authorities inspected the premises, Van attempted to dispose of the evidence.

The investigating agency drew up a record and sealed the evidence.

It is known that Nguyen Tu Hoai specialized in receiving goods from Laos and selling them at his private residence to retailers in hotels and guesthouses. Le Cam Van was Hoai's distributor in the Trung Do and Ben Thuy areas (Vinh City).

The Vinh City Police are currently expanding their investigation to arrest other related suspects.
