Unified propaganda plan for the 110th Anniversary of Comrade Phan Dang Luu's Birth

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of April 16, in Vinh City, under the chairmanship of comrade Thai Khac Thu - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with Yen Thanh District (hometown of revolutionary Phan Dang Luu) to organize a meeting with press agencies to discuss and agree on a propaganda plan for the 110th Anniversary of Comrade Phan Dang Luu's Birthday (May 5, 1902 - May 5, 2012).

At the meeting, comrade Thai Khac Thu clearly stated the purpose, meaning and importance of the event commemorating the 110th birthday of comrade Phan Dang Luu - an outstanding revolutionary leader of our Party; the important role of propaganda work for this event - one of the three important events of our province in 2012.

Next, the leaders of Yen Thanh district reported on the preparations for the celebration, as well as the plan, program and activities leading up to the celebration. Accordingly, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee will hold a rally to celebrate the 110th birthday of comrade Phan Dang Luu in Yen Thanh district on May 4, 2012, and will also hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Phan Dang Luu Monument.

With the importance of this event, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", to contribute to creating an impression for the Anniversary Ceremony, worthy of the stature and great achievements of our Party's outstanding revolutionary predecessor, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requests that press agencies focus on doing a good job of propaganda, especially propaganda about the life, career and great contributions of comrade Phan Dang Luu to the Party's revolutionary cause, as well as the achievements and changes of the homeland of patriot Phan Dang Luu in the renovation process.
