Forced dismissal of civil servants using illegal recruitment documents

(Baonghean) On April 6, 2012, the Government issued Decree No. 27/2012/ND-CP regulating disciplinary action against civil servants and civil servants' responsibility for compensation and reimbursement.


Accordingly, the disciplinary measure of forced dismissal will be applied to one of the following cases: Officials using illegal documents to be recruited into public service units; officials sentenced to imprisonment without suspension or convicted by the Court for corruption; failure to comply with professional, technical, ethical and code of conduct procedures while performing professional activities causing particularly serious consequences; violating at a particularly serious level the provisions of the law on corruption prevention and control but not to the extent of being prosecuted for criminal liability...


The head of a public service unit managing civil servants is responsible for organizing a meeting for civil servants who have violated the law to self-criticize and receive disciplinary action, except in cases where the civil servant has been sentenced to imprisonment without suspension by the Court or has been convicted of corruption by the Court.


This Decree takes effect from May 25, 2012.
