Minister and delegation offer incense to Truong Bon Youth Volunteers martyrs
The delegation visited and offered flowers and incense at the Monument and the graves of 13 Youth Volunteers at the Truong Bon historical site in My Son commune, Do Luong district. Here, Comrade Cao Dang Vinh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported to the delegation on the project to build the Truong Bon historical site, summarizing the construction items, project progress, difficulties and obstacles, and proposing to call for investment support.
Regarding the inspection and survey of National Highway 1A, the Transport sector also proposed to implement a number of key projects in the area such as National Highway 1A, the section passing through the area has been invested in by the Ministry of Transport for expansion. However, the allocated capital has only reached 15% (186/1,217 billion), so the province has only been able to implement 3 bidding packages, which are currently under construction. The unfinished construction has greatly affected traffic safety. The province requested the Ministry of Transport to allocate more capital to speed up the project implementation progress.
The Ministry has approved the project of National Highway 15, Do Luong - Nam Dan section, with a total investment of more than 700 billion VND. Currently, the capital has not been allocated so it has not been implemented. The locality hopes that the Ministry of Transport will continue to pay attention so that this project can be started soon, because this is one of the main roads of the locality. The Transport sector also requested the Ministry to allow the project of renovating and upgrading National Highway 48 from Km20-33 and Km64-112.
