Father kills 16-month-old child with pesticide

On May 25, a 16-month-old baby died after being poisoned with pesticides by his own father.

According to the victim’s family, on the afternoon of May 25, Luong Ngoc Quan and his wife, Bui Thi Thu Thuy, residing in Binh Da Ward, Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai), had an argument. Immediately, Quan mixed pesticide with milk and porridge and gave it to his son, Luong Duc Thinh (16 months old).

After Thinh drank the drink, he foamed at the mouth, showed symptoms of poisoning, and had convulsions. Quan immediately took his son to a relative's house to ask them to take him to Dong Nai General Hospital for emergency treatment. Thinh was then transferred to Dong Nai Children's Hospital for treatment, but he died.
