Traffic violation fines will be increased.
Based on the proposal of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just directed the immediate drafting of a Decree to increase fines for a number of violations in the field of road traffic.
Traffic violation fines will be increased in the coming time.
Accordingly, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Public Security to coordinate with the Ministry of Transport to promptly submit to the Government a Decree amending and supplementing Decree No. 34/2010/ND-CP dated April 2, 2010 regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road traffic in the spirit of Resolution No. 88/NQ-CP dated August 24, 2011 of the Government.
The Ministry of Transport submitted the above Decree at the end of the first quarter of 2012 to seek the Prime Minister's opinion.
Previously, as reported, in the plan to implement the National Traffic Safety Year 2012 in the People's Public Security force, the Ministry of Public Security will coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to report to the Government to issue a Decree stipulating a number of strong measures to increase the effectiveness of handling violations of road traffic safety and order.
