Westlife officially disbands after 14 years together

Legendary boy band Westlife have officially said goodbye in front of 80,000 spectators at Croke Park Stadium, Dublin.

After their European tour ended, the Westlife boys had the opportunity to return to their homeland and hold their final show to say goodbye to the audience on June 24 at Croke Park Stadium.

Although the disbandment was announced in October last year, loyal fans still couldn't help but be surprised by this news.

At the concert, each member of the group took turns performing songs that were once associated with and made Westlife famous such as "What about now", "What makes a man",... and the group's most successful hit "Flying without wings".

Kian Egan, a member of the group, shared: “Because it is the group's last performance, the most important thing for us right now is to stand in front of our fans once again to look back on our artistic journey over the past 14 years.”

Band member Mark Feehily added: “Over the past 14 years, Westlife’s supporters have made our dream come true. This show is our gift to the audience. You have meant everything to our success.”

Faced with such sincere sharing, the group members as well as the fans could not hold back their tears. Hopefully, on their own path, each member will achieve certain successes and Westlife will never “collapse” in the hearts of the fans./.
