Confiscated 4 luxury cars "suspected of being stolen from the US"

Hai Phong port customs has just decided to confiscate and forfeit four smuggled cars, suspected to be evidence in a luxury car theft ring in the US.

The four cars are BMW X6, BMW 750 Li, Mercedes S550 and Volkswagen Touareg. "We confiscated them and turned them over to the state treasury," a representative of Hai Phong port customs confirmed.

At the end of February, Hai Phong port customs discovered a batch of cars imported from the US but declared as imported aluminum rolls. After that, a business (in Cau Giay district, Hanoi) that was the recipient of the goods refused to accept these cars.
