Chaos in front of the Provincial General Hospital gate
(Baonghean)Implementing Directive 05 of the city, up to now, many units and localities have maintained the results after clearance, ensuring clear roads and airy sidewalks. However, there have been re-encroachment points that have not been completely resolved. For example, in front of the gate of the Provincial General Hospital on Nguyen Phong Sac Street in Hung Dung Ward.
A clear reality is that in front of the Provincial General Hospital, the chaotic and dirty situation is recurring. Mobile grocery carts are still set up next to the hospital wall to do business, with tables and chairs placed on the sidewalk. In particular, the roadway here has become a taxi gathering place after stopping to pick up and drop off passengers, and the situation of motorbike taxi drivers standing around haphazardly, soliciting passengers, causing traffic insecurity, especially during rush hour.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tien, whose family member is being treated at the Provincial General Hospital, expressed her frustration: "Although this road has been widened, because there are many hospitals and clinics here, the traffic is heavy. However, that does not mean we have to accept the situation where traffic is always chaotic in front of the hospital gate. Eliminating this situation will first of all ensure the smooth flow so that when there are emergencies, we do not have to waste time clearing the road."
Faced with that reality, it is thought that the Provincial General Hospital needs to coordinate with local authorities and functional forces to promptly take corrective measures and strictly punish violations to ensure traffic safety and order as well as aesthetics in this area.
