The results of an independent sociological investigation into anti-corruption will be announced.

On August 9, the Government Inspectorate (GIA) organized an assessment of the performance in July. Recently, the GIA has conducted many economic and social inspections.

This agency is finalizing 6 inspection conclusions, building reports on the results of 9 inspections, and continuing to conduct 3 inspections. Regarding the task of receiving citizens, in July, the citizen reception offices of the Party and State Central Committees in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City received 1,614 people coming to present their cases. Of which, there were 50 large complaint delegations, mainly people from the provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam... The Government Inspectorate Office has classified and processed 1,256/1,606 petitions, most of which were related to compensation work when reclaiming land by authorities at all levels.

Regarding the work of preventing and combating corruption (PCTN), the Government Inspectorate is currently focusing on comprehensively amending the PCTN Law in accordance with the spirit assigned by the National Assembly and the Government. The draft has been published to solicit feedback from the public and social organizations. In addition, this agency continues to complete the draft report on the results of an independent sociological investigation on PCTN and will soon make it public.
