Seven wanted fugitives hiding in the South have been arrested.
(Baonghean.vn) -After 20 days of deploying forces to the southern provinces, on August 31, 2012, the Criminal Fugitive Apprehension Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police arrested 7 wanted individuals and extradited them to Nghe An.
The individuals were transferred to Nghe An province.
Seven fugitives are hiding in the provinces of Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Binh Dinh. Among them are four dangerous individuals and one extremely dangerous individual: Nguyen Khanh Hoa (born 1983, residing in Nghi Phong, Nghi Loc); Vo Van Kien (born 1988, residing in Nghi Cong Bac, Nghi Loc); Vo Van Nhat (born 1985, residing in Nghi Cong Bac, Nghi Loc); Phan Viet Thanh (born 1992, residing in Cong Thanh, Yen Thanh); Nguyen Thi Hien (born 1968, residing in Hai Trung Hamlet, Nghi Hai Ward, Cua Lo Town); and Phan Van Kien (born 1989, residing in Hoa Nam Hamlet, Thanh Hoa Commune, Thanh Chuong District). These individuals are charged with the following crimes: robbery, theft, abuse of trust to misappropriate property, illegal drug trafficking, intentional infliction of injury, and illegal detention.
Notably, among those arrested was Tran Duc Vu (born in 1970, residing in Block 2, Muong Xen Town, Ky Son District), a particularly dangerous individual who had been wanted since 1999 for the crime of illegally trafficking narcotics.
