Testing the Lao language proficiency of border guards along the border.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 8th, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a Lao language proficiency test for 32 officers and staff working on the province's two border guard lines.

Candidates participating in the test must complete four basic sections: Translation proficiency (translating from Lao to Vietnamese and from Vietnamese to Lao); Listening and answering questions in Lao on paper; Reading texts in Lao; and Direct communication and dialogue in Lao with the examiner.

This activity aims to assess the quality of the Lao language skills of officers and staff in the Nghe An Border Guard Force who have been sent to Lao language training courses lasting 6 months or more and are currently working in grassroots units.
